Service Description

Learn individually, hands on familiarity and best practices with live firearms. From the basics to choosing the best firearm to suit your needs, this highly personalized training is available for individuals or pairs. We will learn in a classroom environment and at the shooting range. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about, handle and fire a wide variety of firearms. Classes are tailored to the needs of the individual and may feature Pistols, Rifles and or Shotgun training. Dutch Merrick has 35 years experience including competitive "practical-pistol", Wrangling prop guns for film and TV and as a certified National Rifle Association and California Rifle and Pistol Association firearms instructor. This instruction uses a "total participant involvement" method, including an empathetic and thoughtful approach to learning. This class is perfect for beginners looking for a nurturing learning environment or season shooters looking to improve their skill-set. The program runs between 6 and 8 hours and is determined by the learning pace of the participants.
